Needs & Values. Get Your Check Up Today!

  • sarahucoach

Who do YOU spend your precious time with?

“Spend time with people who only want the best for you. And be someone who only wants the best for others too” ~ Cheryl Richardson

Take a few moments today and look around you and see you who’s in your life.

Who do you connect with every day?

Do these people share your same interests, values?

Do you like who you see?

The people in your life are a reflection of who you are.

Do these people life truly want what is best for you?

Are they supporting you to live your Best Life?

When you are living your Best Life you:

Take Excellent Care of Yourself

Have Harmonious Relationships

Eat Healthy Foods that Energize You

Get Your Needs Met

Live with Integrity

Practice Gratitude Daily

Spend time with those who share your Values

Most importantly, you FEEL GOOD, which makes life seem easy…no matter what you’re facing.

Today I want to focus on 2 aspects on living your Best Life

1.  Getting Your Needs Met

2.  Spending time with others who share your Values

Needs are what run us. We are fueled by either healthy or unhealthy energy sources to get our needs meet. Healthy energy sources are love and spending time with others who support you while unhealthy energy sources are addictions and stress.

A need is a part of who you are

A need is a MUST for you to be your BEST

Needs change over time. Click here to get a check up on your current needs.

Values are what you are naturally included to do, what you are drawn toward, what you are eager to do without effort.

Values determine who you are, what you want and how you live

If getting what you want makes you happy, and if getting your needs met brings satisfaction, then living a values-based life brings fulfillment. Fulfillment is that inner feeling beyond happiness or satisfaction – it’s that lasting glow and the feeling of being totally you.

Click here to get check up on your Values

Are your values in alignment with what you are doing and how you are living?

I invite you to check in on your Needs and Values this month.

You will receive two life work exercises (Needs and Values) Plus 3 – 30 minute individual phone coaching sessions with me where we will discuss the results of your life work exercises and how to implement them to Live your Best Life.

$197 for Needs & Values Life Work & 3-30 minute coaching sessions

Ready to get started?

Email me at sarahucoach@yahoo.com to schedule your 1st session and receive your Needs & Values Life Work exercises.

13 Ways to Release 2013

  • December 31, 2013

13 Ways to Release 2013

The countdown is on. 2013 is coming to a close. I want to invite to release the year and be ready to receive the New Year. It’s important to release what is no longer serving you so you can start the new year fresh.  Otherwise it’s like crawling into a warm comfy bed with crisp white sheets and you have dirty feet.  Ick.

It’s also important to release the past so you are able to CELEBRATE all of your amazing accomplishments and be ready to create your 2014 Vision for even more good amazing stuff to flow into your life.

Here are 13 Ways to Release 2013 and Be Ready to Receive 2014

Acknowledge 2013 wasn’t perfect. No year ever is

Say Good-Bye to all the “not so good stuff” from 2013

Write a list of everything you want to release. All the events, experiences, situations, relationships which will no longer serve you in the coming year

Burn your list. Toss it in the fire place, take the list outside and light a match. Watch the all of the icky stuff burn away

Forgive yourself for the all the “not so good stuff”

Toss, Pitch, Donate any physical items which are dragging you down. Anything that brings up a bad memory or anything that makes you say YUCK and anything related to the list which you just burnt

Take a Salt Bath. Literally wash away the past year. Take 1 cup of table salt and add it to a warm bath. Scrub the salt water over your skin. Then take a shower to wash the salt off and start the New Year off clean.

Smudge your Home. Clear the old energy out of your home using the Native American technique called smudging. Light the smudge stick and fan the flame with your hand or feather. Walk through your home and cleanse the area. Click here for more on how to smudge

Now that you have released all of the icky parts of 2013 I want to take time and acknowledge yourself for all of the wonderful achievements and accomplishments of the past year.

Write a list of everything you feel good about from 2013. Keeping up with a healthy habit all year, maintaining a healthy life style, building nurturing relationships with family/friends, practicing extreme Self-Care, being financially sound, living in a home that you love.

Reflect back on the past 12 months and write down what you are most proud of achieving each month starting in January. Celebrating an anniversary, completing a home improvement project, taking that amazing vacation you’ve dreamed about, receiving a promotion, taking a new job, welcoming a new baby to the family.

Read your list out loud. Read it to yourself, your spouse, your best friend, your children

Feel Gratitude as you read each accomplishment. What I want for you is to feel deeply grateful for all you have achieved and appreciate yourself for the wonderful amazing past year

CELEBRATE all of the amazing fabulous things from 2013 and prepare to receive an even more abundant 2014.

What do you really want in 2014?

My 12-week coaching course Vision 2014 starts on January 6th.   Click here to reserve your spot today.

With Gratitude,

Coach Sarah

Be Your Higher Self for the Holidays

  • sarahucoach
  • December 19, 2013

Are You Being Your Higher Self this Holiday Season?Tis the season to be jolly.  With all the joy and wonder of the holiday season the month of December can also bring stress, anxiety, guilt and frustration.  Now is an excellent time to check in to see if you are living from your HIGHER Self or your LOWER Self.

Let me give you a quick overview of what it’s like to live from your HIGHER self versus your LOWER self.

When you’re living from your HIGHER self, you:

Live a Balanced Life

Take Excellent Care of Yourself

Do Work You Love

Have Harmonious Relationships

Eat Healthy Foods that Energize You

Get Your Needs Met

Live with Integrity

Are Joyful

Feel Peaceful, Centered and Clear Minded

Practice Gratitude Daily

Feel Confident

Take Consistent Action to Propel Your Life Forward

Have Goals that Align with Your Values

Live in Abundance

Most importantly, you FEEL GOOD, which makes life seem easy…no matter what you’re facing.

When you’re living from your LOWER self, you:

Make FEAR-Based Decision

Stay in a Job You Don’t Like

Live in Debt

Allow People to Cross Your Boundaries

Neglect Your Body/Fitness/Self-Care

Eat Junk Foods

Have Unfocused Negative Thoughts

Lack Clarity

Worry a lot

Lack of Joyful or Fun Experiences

Feel Stuck

Misrepresent Yourself

Over-Promise Results

Easily Attract Problems / Crisis / Draining People

Can you see how living this way would make you feel CRUMMY or FRUSTRATED?  That’s the recipe for a life that feels very HARD.

Which pieces of your LOWER self do you want to release as you approach 2014?

What parts of your HIGHER self do you want to GROW and ATTRACT more of?

Remember is important to let go of your LOWER (Negative) self to let your HIGHER (Positive) self SHINE through!

Need additional support to live from your HIGHER Self as you close 2013 and get ready for 2014.  Click here learn more about living as your Higher Self.

With Gratitude,

Coach Sarah

What are you most UnGrateful for this season?

  • sarahucoach
  • November 20, 2013

What I am most UnGrateful for this Season?

You may think the title of today’s newsletter is a little off given its 10 days away from Thanksgiving and this doesn’t sound like the Coach Sarah I’ve come to know.  Rest assured it is me.  I just wanted to put a little different twist on Gratitude.

I am a big believer in the Law of Attraction which is the theory of Like attracts Like.  I also believe in practicing Gratitude daily.  If you are a friend of mine on Facebook you may be following my daily gratitude posts this month.  However, I also believe that life happens and no matter what sometimes negative things happen.  What I want to share with you are ways to turn your negative thoughts around quickly so you don’t get stuck in the negative rut and go into a downward spiral.

Last week I had an opportunity to attend a presentation by Deepak Chopra, MD.  Based on his research we have over 70,000 thoughts each day and as many as 98 percent of them are exactly the same as we had the day before. Talk about creatures of habit!  But even more significant, 80 percent of our thoughts are negative. This is important because of what we call the mind/body connection, psychoneuroimmunology in medical terms. You know what this is from your own experience. If you’re tired physically, it’s hard to think clearly. On the other hand, if you’ve been using your mind doing mental work all day, you’re likely to feel the effects physically, too.

Negative thoughts are particularly draining. Thoughts containing words like “never,” “should,” and “can’t,” complaints, whining or thoughts that diminish our own or another’s sense of self-worth deplete your energy. No wonder we’re exhausted at the end of the day!

The good news is, if you can recognize a negative or limiting thought, you can consciously choose to change it. One of my favorite lines from the movie “Eat, Pray, Love” is by Richard from Texas during Liz Gilbert’s time in India “You choose your thoughts the same way you choose your clothes each morning.  That is a power you can cultivate.”  Think about how much time you take each morning to decide what you are going to wear for the day.  As a negative thought crosses you mind put it back and pick something else.

Here are some examples of UnGrateful thoughts followed by the Grateful thought.

Everything around the house seems to be breaking

I am grateful I have the opportunity to update my home, car, computer, etc.

I can never lose these last 10, 20, 30 pounds

I am grateful I have enough food to nourish my body and I know what I need to do to get back to my goal weight.

I am so far in debt I can’t seem to get out

I am grateful I’ve have an opportunity to purchase items which have brought me much joy.  I know can create a sound financial plan to get me back on the right track.

I can’t believe my boyfriend / girlfriend / significant other lied to me; cheated on me; or fill in the blank with your relationship deal breaker.

I am grateful I know the truth so I can release that negative energy to open my heart to heal and receive new love

When you think something is IMPOSSIBLE.  Put an apostrophe between I’M and think.

I’M POSSIBLE!!

Need additional support to turn your UnGrateful thoughts into Grateful thoughts.  Click here to schedule a 1×1 phone coaching session with me.

With Gratitude,

Coach Sarah

Are you Filling Your Summer with Your Favorite Things

  • sarahucoach
  • July 22, 2013

I hope you are having an amazing summer.  I’d like to share a recent experience with each of you and hope you too can benefit from my story.

On Sunday morning I woke up a little bummed because it was supposed to be the 1st day of my vacation.  However, due to circumstances outside of my control my trip was rescheduled to a later date.  Instead of sleeping in and feeling blue I decided to wake up, go to a yoga class and start my Sunday.

To my surprise there was a substitute teacher for Vinyasa yoga.  Awesome class and at the end he announced that he was teaching a free class at a winery that evening.  Class would be outdoors and after class you could enjoy a free wine tasting.

I thought how could it be.  Two of my favorite things.  Yoga & Wine.  I have to go.  I invited a friend & we had such an amazing time.

During one of the sun salutations I thought,  Wow, how awesome is this.  I started the day doing one of my favorite things and I continued doing more of my favorite things throughout the day and night.

I am a BIG believer in the Law of Attraction meaning Like ATTRACTS Like.  Once you start doing something that you LOVE more of what you really want will start showing up.

What I want for each of you is to think about YOUR Favorite Things.

List all of your favorite things and then think about how frequently you want to ENJOY them.  Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually.

Click below to create very own

My Favorite Things

 Print it out, Write it down & Make it happen!

Enjoy MORE of Your Favorite Things this Summer.

Feeling Stuck?  Click here to some extra support from me!

What I want for each of you is to fill your summer with your favorite things.

Be open to allow GOODNESS into your life.

Practice Gratitude Daily.

Allow JOY to flow into your Life

Appreciate Yourself for all the wonderful AMAZING things you do for you, your family & friends.

Warmly,

Coach Sarah

Are you Running on Empty?

  • sarahucoach
  • March 20, 2013

Don’t you hate that feeling when you see the RED fuel light go on.  CRAP!!  I’m running out of gas.  I wonder how far can I go before I totally run out?

Running on Empty takes far more ENERGY than operating with a FULL tank.

Do you ever wish you had that same indicator light on your body so you knew when to pull over and refuel?

How do you feel when you run on EMPTY?

*  Impatient

*  Anxious

*  Defensive

*  Judgmental

*  Stressed Out

*  Angry

*  Resentful

*  Overall fatigue

*  Negative Self Talk

In today’s world, most people are running on fumes.  The reserve tanks are EMPTY.

Your choices, your LIFE is so much easier and automatic by having a reserve.

What do you mean by having a Reserve?

To have a reserve means that you have more than you need in every area of your life:

*  Money

*  Time

*  Rest

*  Personal Space

*  ENERGY

You need a Reserve more than you know.  Just start the process and watch how EASY your life gets and how FREE you feel.  It works.

With a strong reserve you are truly at CHOICE.  You can have more of what you REALLY want and need.  You spend your time doing what fulfills you and you can truly be yourself.

You can try to be yourself without a reserve but it’s rarely sustainable or consistent.  You will be running on fumes again before your know it.

You need a reserve in 10 areas:

1.  Time

2.  Space

3.  Money

4.  Energy

5.  Opportunity

6.  Love

7.  Information

8.  Wisdom

9.  Self

10. Integrity

There are so many benefits to having reserves.  Here are just a few:

*  Freedom from worries

*  Space to GROW

*  Living a peaceful life

*  You attract more of what you REALLY want

Ready to fill your tank to FULL?

Click here to schedule a personal phone coaching session with me.  Together we will:

*  Review Your 10 Current Reserve Areas

*  Identify Your Focus Areas

*  Build Your Personal Reserves

Start refueling NOW!

Warmly,

Coach Sarah
